CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW

In a world where getting lost in the madness of self-indulgence and neglect runs rampant, Kevin Miller (Andrew Jacob DeHart) is about to reach the ultimate breaking point. Unseen and Unheard by his father (Walt Sloan) and tormented by his peers, it often seems that his Mother (Francine Locke) is the only person who truly hears him. When she grows powerless to cradle her own child safely in a cruel world, Kevin contemplates putting an end to his own existence and leaving behind the words that he can only express to his diary.

REDISCOVERED PURPOSE

An abused prostitute gives new purpose to a suicidal John.

MISSING PEACE

Recently widowed Aaren (Clarisse Behr) is a young woman living alone on her farm in the mountains. As she struggles to create stability in her daily routine, Aaren wrestles with tasks for which she once relied on her husband. To aid with repairs around the farm, she enlists the help of Jack (Willy Adkins), an unassuming neighbor who has had to cope with the loss of his own wife.

Over the course of Jack’s frequent visits, his and Aaren’s feelings for each other grow, but Aaren is tentative about moving on. Spurred by words of fatherly wisdom from her cheeky neighbor, Paul (Chuck Winstead-Brown), Aaren is faced with a decisive question: should she try to pick up the pieces of her old life, or can she find the courage to build a new one?

STATE OF DELINQUENCY

Four teenage boys fight for respect and human connection in a world of isolation overrun with bullies of all sizes.
Inspired by true events
In memory of
Gary Hendrickson

THE CIVIL HOAX: CIVIL WAR DENIERS

A feature comedy mockumentary exploring the idiotic depths of history denial, conspiracy theorists, and alternative facts.

SOMETHING ABOUT HENRY

SOMETHING ABOUT HENRY is about a tortured soul named Ladybird, who has a unique affliction and as her story unfolds and climaxes to the WHY of her condition…..it’s another social commentary of why one shouldn’t ever sit in judgment of what society refers to as the “less fortunate”. While there is some humor attached, its message is loud and clear!

FIVE PIECE

When a metal band approaches a once-in-a-lifetime shot at success-a contest with a prize of $1,000,000 and a recording contract-all five players stand to finally escape marginal lives of subsisting and hoping in Hollywood. But as the hours count down to the contest, their gifted but troubled star member, drummer Brandon, becomes stranger and more belligerent. Unknown to the rest of the band, he carries a dark secret that will present the greatest battle that he, and his band, has ever faced.

THE STAIN

One woman's obsession leads her on a dark and strange journey.

TAPFERKEIT

During the WWII North African campaign, a German sniper of the AfrikaKorps and a U.S. Combat engineer find themselves the sole survivors of a battle. They must reluctantly join forces to escape a marauding band of desert nomads and the unforgiving desolation of the Sahara desert. During their odyssey, the German relates the destruction of his country due to following their corrupt politicians. He regrets not stopping them before it was too late. It's a specter from the past that sadly parallels many aspects of our society today. The German soon realizes his own government is the real enemy of his people and struggles to find the courage (Tapferkeit) to stop them.

LEW'S UP FIRST

Starring Phillip E. Walker as Lew and Christie Black as Abbey, in "Lew's Up First" senior citizen Lew Telo is ready to buy his first computer ever. Abbey, the bubbly young geek salesperson, has all the tech answers. If only Lew knew what she was talking about. This short film explores the generational technical divide in a light hearted way.

YOU ARE HERE

Inspired by a postcard and by the many summers spent at a remote Northern Ontario lake in my youth, this short animation is a dusk-to-dawn meditation on the crossroads between the seen and the unseen. From the one-person Seat of the Pants Film Lab, aka Deb Ethier.

SOUP

A woman reminisces about her childhood while making soup.

ASHES

After discovering his parents' final wishes are to have their ashes scattered where they first met, Liam and his closest friends set out to explore the place for themselves as they navigate old memories while creating new ones.

UNVISIBLE

Beautiful socialite Julia has it all: an opulent life, a rich boyfriend, and a secret that's bigger than both.

WESTERN JUBILEE

Western Jubilee is a documentary film about a private music venue and recording studio in Colorado Springs, CO devoted to traditional cowboy music. The film features avid collector Scott O'Malley, the owner of Western Jubilee, and Grammy-nominated cowboy singer Don Edwards. These two men share a friendship, an obsession, and a true love for all things cowboy.

READY FOR A BABY

A young woman in her thirties feels very happy and excited – she has a partner, everything in her life is under control, so now is the perfect time to have a baby. It should be easy and natural, with love and fun and everything else … right?

HERE WE COME

A man battles through what is real and what is not during an evening.

BULLIES

Eugene, a shy 10-year-old boy, is bullied every day until he discovers a secret underneath the school that keeps him safe, for now...

SO LONG ASLEEP, WAKING THE GHOSTS OF WAR

We travel across Japan with volunteers carrying home to Seoul the remains of 115 Korean civilian men who died doing forced labor in Hokkaido during the Asia-Pacific War. Dare we forget our dead?

EVOKE

Despite how pure love can be, relationships don’t always end so perfectly. The evolution of Hailey and Emma's relationship is explored through their collective memories as the girls retrace their times together. After their relationship ends, Hailey goes to a desperate length to be with Emma again.

OLIVER SHORT

A troubled teenage girl, struggling with the death of her father, must help three spirits with their unfinished business on earth.

GASLIGHTING

The short film is about a dangerous form of manipulation occurring in close relationships in which one overpowers the other by manipulating her/his perception through lies, confusion, unjustified guilt-shaming and distraction. Through this the victim is kept down and conditioned on the gaslighter. At the end the protagonist emancipates in a surprising way.
